I went with the cheeseburger and crinkle-cut fries, and it hit exactly the way a great diner burger should. The burger is hand-formed and made in-house, juicy and well-seasoned, with that classic homemade taste you just don’t get everywhere anymore. The crinkle-cut fries were hot, crisp, and familiar in the best way. One thing that really stood out is the variety of fry options. They don’t just stop at one style — you can choose from multiple types, including their “raw fries,” which are basically thin, crispy potato chips made fresh. It’s a small touch, but it shows they care about giving people choices and doing things a little differently. Beyond burgers, the menu covers wings, seafood options, and all the comfort food you’d expect from a classic American diner out in the country. On weekends, they also offer a Saturday morning breakfast buffet and a Sunday buffet, making it an easy place to come hungry and leave satisfied. Cafe My Place isn’t trying to be flashy or trendy.
